This year I decided nothing less and nothing more than to open an account at Twitter and blog BORGES THE BATON. I swear that prior to that wise, or unfortunate? – Step, I was happy, had all the time in the world to me and read literature like the most.

Well all that changed from night to morning with Twitter.

The first change came with my books, which usually stroked, smelled and read avidly. Today there remain scattered in the library from home, looking at me sideways as if to say but well worth it when you return to be you and you do to us, as always.

The second was with my wife. I look askance as the books but if you ask this man so much typing on that computer day and night, God! Will you’re writing the fifteen volumes of the new edition of the Encyclopedia Britannica?

I confess that the blessed Twitter Giving me a lot of trouble. But it’s so addictive that I first detachment of the collector of insurance from my Twitter account.

I thought about what causes this addiction in us, why we want to be always taking a look at the account on the PC or the BB. Will we feel need to be well informed, aware of everything, pezcar a scoop, see photos of the new boyfriend of Paris Hilton, video or the latest outrage of Amy Winehouse? Is that kid?

Not really. Not so. I claim, decree, I set-after much thought about the disease in the early twenty-first century – this is ego, pure and simple, so simple. EGOOO’s good, yes sir!

Then my five reasons to support the premise:

1. I love a mention. Timeline to check my lightning fast but enmediatamente going after any mention of @ rafaelfarinas to justify my existence on this planet earth, or rather in this world 2.0.

2. I want many of my Tweets RTs. Why will not retweet my other twitter tweets tell-me-if everything is important and tweeted the planet has to know that when the distribution of neurons was I was here first.

3. The # FollowFriday is awesome. On Friday, the stock may have fallen precipitously, lowered the price of the dollar, increased inflation, increased crime, all that can happen, but nothing is more important to open your mind and start seeing many # FF of people who say they are best in the world and that failure to follow will be losing something like the live broadcast of the first step of man on the moon.

4. I love having a big check Followers. I think this is the most precious good of human beings 2.0. Every follower that daily consumption justifies me and makes me feel that if they have taken the trouble to follow it because I’m interesting, more interesting, why not – This is so true that when a few days ago Twitter server was problems and left half the world without a row and fans, the track reached the top of the net 2.0, and there were mass suicides as if it were familar bankruptcy.

5. I do not want Unfollowers. St. Mary of all twitter, do not allow. Nothing more depressing than getting a direct message telling Mr. @ unfollowr who sent you to hell, either bored or because you are so x in life do not deserve the sympathy of your fellow man. Wow, that hurts friends, I tell you that I cried profusely in front of my PC screen. I do not usually ask me what I did wrong, but tell me face transformer are going to pay me!. Unfollow Immediately back.

Well, there are, those are my 5 reasons why I took off of Twitter.

Indeed, at the end of Friday ruminate on this post, I felt really bad. There had been indications, zero RTs, no one remembered me and gave me # FF, I had barely a follower in the day that lasted a few minutes and then flew, and more dramatic: 25 unfollowers a single trip, as to tell me what you’re worth is nothing, you’re nobody … die!

I left the computer, I went to the balcony, breathe, I turned towards my room and told my wife misfortunes.

- My love – I said – I am an X in life, I’m nobody. In short, I’m just a being 1.0, a hulk offline, then.

- Ahh yes, “she said. Well, I confess that I think even you are a 1.0, but a 0, because in this house, no one made dinner.
